Before you begin this process, be sure you have signed up with Viator and created your product listings.
- Login to Viator Supplier Account and go to “Account”, then “Connectivity” tab. Choose your reservation system from a list. Once this is done, it might take 24 hours to process.
- In WaveRez, go to “Integrations” on the left menu. Click on “Viator”
- Click the checkbox that says “Use Viator”. You will find your API Supplier ID on your account under account>connectivity. It is not the number listed beside your name. Once you have your number you can enter it here.
- Select the product you wish to add to Viator
- Fill out the basic information and click “add tour option”
- Create a name for the tour (this is just for internal use), and then select the tickets you’d like to sell. Click save.
- Once you finish creating your product on Viator, you’ll have to purchase the setup fees ($29.00). Then your product will be in review:
- Go back to the Viator Supplier Dashboard and select the corresponding product and click “Manager”
- If your product is not active, set it to Active.
- Schedules must be setup (either at this point or after connection, it’ll sync better)
- Max per booking is actual equipment (so rentals needs to be 1)
- Go to “product connection” and click “connect”
- If setup correct, it should display in the options
- Select corresponding option
- Then you’ll want to verify that the start times match up:
- If they don’t match up as you see below in the example below, then update in Viator schedules as shown.
